Ladysmith
The owner of the Pharmasave in Ladysmith called. Apparently, his 30' cinder block wall leaks.. I didn't have time to do it, but the owner couldn't find anybody, with kinda
answer I gave him. Ask him yourself! He had other General Contracting trades water seal it and paint it. Nothing worked. Concrete is porous. Once water finds a path through material. Nevermind condensation and evaporation... 9 times outa 10. You have to replace the material. Or grind it down, like prep for a B weld. Then use a stronger material combined with a sealing product to stop the water. If its done wrong. It gets worse. DO NOT SCREW AROUND WITH WATER. You can see fire take property, possessions and life. Water makes you feel like you've won. But you haven't. Self explanatory. Strapped the cinder blocks in 2"x4". 1-1/2" - 2" air gap keeps any water away. Top water tight and make sure the bottom has plenty of drainage. Then Cladding tools trims it up. BC Hydro joined us for 1 day!
