This was by far, my favorite General Contractor Position awarded since moving here.
My best guess is a "Face Boss" from the mines, or Longshoreman Lead "harbour pilot" from the harbour lived here. The size of the property and the view was amazing. Smaller, well taken care of house is encircled by urban sprawl. The bigger house of the money man gone, or further than my eye could see. Someone had lifted the house and poured new foundation walls, slab and replaced the lead cast sewer with copper and the lighter ferrous cast iron. Most of the old knob n' tube was gone. Which opened up a 100 amps of possibility. Full downstairs development. Laundry, New Bath, New Kitchen, New bedrooms, New floors, new everything!
