This was an fellow independent contractor I meet, and we handled the new construction together, in ugly weather, and a dark as heck place in the winter...The Kootenays! My girlfriend and i move out to Gray Creek BC. I have tell a little of the story. So she's fighting a personal issue, and I'm just fighting to survive.. She has family out there so.. I figure what the heck. Lets get outta town. I round up this job with a fellow name Ken. 2 miles down from where I'm living! In the bloody Koots! lol I can't believe it! Him and I, spend the better part of winter throwing this warehouse up. 120' long x 60' at the mouth...Foundation, framing, shingles and siding... Well , about mid Feb. My cute half leaves the ugly half and I'm not living in the Kootenays. I roof the damn thing myself in the snow and tell Ken (great guy) he can pick whatever siding he likes. Cause I'm ocean bound! Cost me every stinking penny I made just staying there.....I give you....The Warehouse!
